The leggy, green-eyed Austrian particularly enjoyed a bit of mixed doubles straight after a big win when, even after a quick towel-down, her body would still be slick with perspiration.
Thomas Prerovsky, the man who took Schett's virginity when she was 17 and dated her for eight years, told Britain's News of the World tabloid: "We'd be on such a high - sometimes we wouldn't wait for Barbara to get changed. She was brilliant in bed and had a body to die for. It was absolutely perfect."
Prerovsky, who trained Schett to become a world-beater, still remembers each grass stain on his girlfriend's thighs in the days that he explored every inch of her gorgeous body.
The first time they made love, he said, was "perfect".
Prerovsky first met Schett in Vienna when she was just 15 and desperately trying to make it as a tennis pro. They began dating a year later and he became her full-time coach.
Still, the more she won, the more Prerovsky got to make love to her. After grass court tournaments there would still be blades of grass stuck to her skin. After other tournaments his hands would smudge caked red clay over her thighs.
Schett was so keen to make love that she would dump her gear in the musty locker room and give herself almost immediately to her coach.
