Allyson Brittany Moran, 26, appeared in Michigan court on Thursday for a preliminary hearing. During the hearing, one of her former students, 17, testified about how the substitute teacher seduced him and invited him over to her house for sex. The unidentified student said he had sex at Moran's house in Dansville twice. He told his girlfriend about the affair in July and the next month a faimly member reported Moran to the police. Moran was arrested last month. At the conclusion of the hearing on Thursday, a judge ordered the former teacher to stand trial. She faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted. It appears that Moran was married at the time of her sexual contact with the teen. Her husband moved to South Dakota in June, when she moved to Illinois. It's unclear if they are still married or if they have divorced.
