Reason: Marlins rookie Jason Vargas will go for his fourth victory of the season as he takes on the Padres on Tuesday night.
Vargas has done nothing but impress since making his major league debut back in early July. He is coming off a pair of strong outings against the Diamondbacks and Reds, in which he allowed just two earned runs in 11 1/3 innings pitched. The Marlins are one of the hotter teams in the National League right now and should give Vargas plenty of support here.
Padres starter Brian Lawrence has really been struggling of late. In his last start, he yielded eight earned runs in just 3 2/3 innings of work. The Padres have dropped seven of Lawrence's last eight trips to the hill. On the road this season he is just 4-7 with a 4.80 ERA. He owns a career 4.96 ERA against the Marlins.
The Marlins are making a push for the N.L. Wildcard and a strong series against the Padres could be a major step.

Dużo osób mówi że MLB to najlepsze miejsce na granie progresji...ale już nie dla mnie. Zaufałem analizom eksperta w obstawianiu sportów amerykańskich i tak oto oddałem 120j bukom. Na kolejny poziom progresji już mnie niestać, a Miller powinien już przejść na emeryturę i zająć się zbieraniem jagód (jak trafnie napisał Arsen). Już moje typy laika częściej wchodzą niż jego ostatnie wypociny.
